These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of dailygroupgrid.com (“the site”, “we”, “us”). By visiting the site or playing our puzzles you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. The Service

Daily Group Grid is a free, browser-based word-grouping puzzle. One original puzzle is published each day, together with hint and answer pages. No account, registration, or payment is required to play. The service is provided free of charge and on an “as is” and “as available” basis; we may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time without notice.

2. Permitted Use

You may use the site for personal, non-commercial entertainment: playing the daily puzzle, reading hints and answers, and sharing links to our pages. You may quote short excerpts (for example, a day's category themes) with a link back to the source page.

3. Prohibited Use

• Scraping, bulk-downloading, or republishing our puzzles, answer pages, or hint pages in whole or substantial part.
• Interfering with the operation of the site, probing for vulnerabilities, or circumventing any technical measure.
• Using automated traffic, bots, or click fraud against the site or the advertisements displayed on it.
• Framing or mirroring the site, or misrepresenting your affiliation with it.
• Any use that violates applicable law.

4. Intellectual Property

All puzzles, board layouts, category themes, hints, answer explanations, text, and site design are original works owned by us unless otherwise stated. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to access and play them in your browser; no other rights are granted. “Connections” is a trademark of The New York Times Company; this site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The New York Times, and nothing on this site is an NYT puzzle or NYT solution.

5. Third-Party Advertising

The site is funded by display advertising served by third-party vendors, including Google AdSense. Advertisers, not us, are responsible for the content of their ads and for the sites they link to. 6. No Warranty; Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. Puzzle content is provided for entertainment only. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site; where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us to use the site (which is zero).

7. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest version, and continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Termination

We may restrict or terminate access to the site (for example, by blocking abusive traffic) at our discretion, without notice, if these Terms are violated.
